2017 Rooker Racing is Go !!!

So here we go again....

Our second year Racing mini moto. For 2017- Lewis races in Junior A class and Travis will jump up to the Junior B class.

 

 This is Lewis´s Heron Barry Sheene replica Minimoto, Its all set up for this years junior A racing here in Sweden - We haven't needed to do too much to the bike, it ran very well last year, taking the most wins of the class last year and bringing Travis a 2nd in the Swedish Junior A class champs.

This is Travis´s new bike all sprayed and sticker-ed up - Its a Marco sim #58 replica.
The bike is a DM Telai - 40cc set up for Junior B racing for this year. We fitted a new pipe and front hydraulic brake, we decided to keep the cable rear brake, we brought a Junior b cone which should help the mid range.
 




We spent a few hours in the garage getting the final touches together on the bikes, then packed up the Pumpkin ready for Saturday morning

April 22 - Saturday - PRACTICE DAY !

 

We had a great day and a real nice turn out despite the cold, about 20 riders in total out on the track.

Travis going very well on his new bike, setting some fast laps.

we had some issues too, we need to fix the tank in better, and get a new chain, also set up the clutch so it bites in when he wants it too, but a real good first practice.

Lewis started to find his speed during the last sessions of the day too.

The drive home, everyone feeling stoked and tired!
