Race #2 of the year was held over a scorching hot weekend at our home Circuit in July at SMK Västerås
During midsummer Lewis began feeling very tired and going to the toilet much more then usual - on midusmmer it was so bad that he was taken to see a doctor and quickly after sent Uppsala Akademiska sjukhuset - after just a few hours he was diagnosed with type 1 Diabetes. It was a real shock at the time, but lewis took the whole thing in his stride. One of his first questions was would he still be able to race motorbikes, the answer was yes and with in days he was injecting himself with life saving insulin as if he had done it forever, and within a couple of weeks he was back on the bike.
Travis took 1st place in both races over the weekend
